Parking for persons with disabilities
What it means
This stall is reserved for persons with disabilities. It is illegal to park or stop in it unless the vehicle displays an identifying parking placard or licence plate.
White with black or red; a red circle with a slash means prohibited, a green circle means permitted.

How to recognise it
A blue square with a white wheelchair symbol.
Where you will see it
Parking lots and streets, usually at the stalls closest to building entrances.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Do not park or stop in the stall unless your vehicle displays an identifying parking placard or licence plate.
- 2.Leave these stalls free so persons with disabilities have safe access to goods and services.
On the knowledge test
The rule covers stopping as well as parking: even a quick stop there is illegal without the placard or plate. Placard applications go through a registry agent or a family doctor.
