How to recognise it
A white upright rectangle with a red circle and bar over a black P, the days and times the ban applies, and arrows at the bottom.
Where you will see it
Along city streets, often on routes that need the curb lane clear at busy times.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Do not park here during the days and times printed on the sign.
- 2.Check the arrows under the symbol: they show which side of the sign the restriction covers.

Read the whole sign: the ban applies only at the days and times shown, and the arrows say where. Outside those times, the usual parking rules still apply.
