What it means
The yellow and black checkerboard warns that the road ends ahead. Slow down and be ready to stop or turn.
Yellow diamonds (and five-sided yellow-green school signs) warn of hazards ahead.

How to recognise it
A yellow diamond filled with a black and yellow checkerboard.
Where you will see it
At or before the end of a road that has no way through.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Slow down: the road does not continue.
- 2.Be ready to stop, or to turn around where it is safe and legal.
