What it means
The road you are on ends at a cross road ahead. Slow down and be ready to turn left or right and to yield.
Yellow diamonds (and five-sided yellow-green school signs) warn of hazards ahead.

How to recognise it
A yellow diamond with a black T: your road ends at a road crossing in front of you.
Where you will see it
Before the end of a road that meets a cross road, where the end is hard to see in time, such as at night or on a rural road.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Slow down and get ready to turn left or right: you cannot go straight on.
- 2.Obey any stop or yield sign at the end. If there are no signs or signals, the driver on the right has the right-of-way, but the driver going straight through may wrongly assume it is theirs.
On the knowledge test
The guide calls the T intersection without signs or signals a unique situation: the driver on the right has the right-of-way there. Expect a question built on that picture.
