Turn left only (permissive)
What it means
A green circle on a white square means the action inside the circle is permitted. Here the only movement allowed is a left turn.
White with black or red; a red circle with a slash means prohibited, a green circle means permitted.

How to recognise it
A white square with a green circle around a black arrow turning left.
Where you will see it
At intersections and exits where going straight or turning right is not allowed.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Turn left: it is the only movement permitted here.
- 2.Make the turn only when it is safe, yielding to oncoming traffic and to pedestrians.
