Wrong way
What it means
You are driving against oncoming traffic. Do not continue; turn around safely.
White with black or red; a red circle with a slash means prohibited, a green circle means permitted.

A red rectangle with WRONG WAY in large white letters.
Where you will see it
Facing drivers who have entered a one-way road or ramp from the wrong end.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Do not keep going: you are heading into oncoming traffic.
- 2.Pull over safely, then turn around and rejoin traffic travelling in your direction.
On the knowledge test
The guide describes it as traffic moving in an oncoming direction. If you see its face, you are the one going the wrong way.
