Trans-Canada Highway marker
What it means
The maple-leaf shield marks the Trans-Canada Highway, a route that crosses the country.

How to recognise it
A marker in the shape of a maple leaf with the route number in the centre.

Along the Trans-Canada Highway and at the roads that join it.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Follow the maple leaf to stay on the Trans-Canada Highway.
- 2.Check it at junctions where the route turns or meets other highways.
