What it means
Marks a designated bicycle route. Expect cyclists on this road.

How to recognise it
A green square with a white bicycle and the word ROUTE in white.
Where you will see it
Along roads designated as bicycle routes.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Expect cyclists sharing the road with you.
- 2.To pass a cyclist, change lanes as you would for any other vehicle, and shoulder check before turning right.
On the knowledge test
It is a route marker, a guide sign: it does not create a bicycle lane or stop drivers from using the road.
