Keep right of divider
What it means
A divider or island is ahead. Keep to the right of it.
White with black or red; a red circle with a slash means prohibited, a green circle means permitted.

How to recognise it

Where you will see it
On the nose of medians, traffic islands and the start of a divided road.
What to do when you see it
- 1.Stay to the right of the divider or island ahead.
- 2.Never pass on its left side: that side belongs to traffic coming the other way.
On the knowledge test
The guide's wording is 'divider ahead – keep right'. The symbol shows the obstacle and the path around it; the answer is always to keep right.
