How to recognise it
A green arrow pointing down, lit on a dark panel hung over a driving lane.
Where you will see it
Over reversible lanes, alongside lanes showing a red X.
What to do when you see it
- 1.You may drive in the lane under the arrow.
- 2.Keep watching the signals as you go: over a reversible lane, the arrow can change to a red X.

It is a lane signal, not a turn signal: the arrow points down at the lane, not in a direction to turn.
